Yanne Horas

Yanne Horas is an associate with IISD’s Economic Law and Policy program, working on sovereign debt issues.
As a researcher and advisor, Yanne has worked with a wide range of government and private sector institutions in Africa, Europe, and Latin America on legislative, fiscal, and regulatory issues with a focus on global finance and sovereign debt. As a parliamentary advisor, she has worked on a broad range of economic policy topics, including debt, tax and subsidy reforms, as well as public accountability and disclosure in financial markets. In her writing, she brings together insights from political economy, modern history, and aesthetic theory.
Yanne holds a Master of Science from the London School of Economics and is a lecturer at the Berlin School of Economics and Law, where her focus is international economics and capital flows.
Based in Berlin and Buenos Aires, Yanne is fluent in English, French, German, and Spanish.
